Photographs taken on our land (you can click these for a larger image)

I found the swallow laying on the ground injured on our fields and took it home with me, kept it in a box over night expecting to find it dead in the morning. when I opened the box it hopped straight onto my hand and I sat in the garden with it for 10 minutes perched on my finger and then it flew away and settled here by our pond all day and flew off at dusk.
